Steelers Visit Browns to Open NFL Week 4 After Rodgers Revival
The Pittsburgh Steelers open Week 4 of the NFL season on Thursday night at Huntington Bank Field, where they face the Cleveland Browns in the first of 16 games across the next seven days.
Kick-off is at 8.15pm Eastern on Prime Video, with Pittsburgh installed as 2.5-point favourites in a game carrying the lowest points total of the week at 38.5.
Rodgers Rolls Back the Years
Pittsburgh arrive on the back of their most convincing offensive performance of the season. Aaron Rodgers threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-27 win over Cincinnati, recording a passer rating of 101.6 and reversing a flat display the week before.
That victory also moved him level with Ben Roethlisberger on 165 regular-season wins, the fifth most by a quarterback in NFL history. The milestone arrived in the stadium where Roethlisberger spent 18 seasons.
Cleveland come in having beaten Carolina in Week 3, a result that steadied them after a difficult opening fortnight.
The modest points total reflects how both defences have performed and the familiarity that comes with an AFC North fixture played this early in the year.
London Calling on Sunday
The schedule takes the league to England at the weekend, with the Indianapolis Colts meeting the Washington Commanders at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the early Sunday slot.
Indianapolis arrive in better shape after a 19-17 win over Houston in which kicker Spencer Shrader, injured during warm-ups, made all four of his field goals including a 53-yarder in the closing seconds.
Washington are without quarterback Jayden Daniels, who dislocated his left elbow against Dallas, with Marcus Mariota continuing in his place.
Elsewhere in Week 4
Sunday also brings New England to Buffalo, where the Bills will look to stay unbeaten. Buffalo were one of five teams to reach 3-0 last week alongside Kansas City, Las Vegas, Minnesota and San Francisco.
The Los Angeles Rams travel to Philadelphia, Green Bay go to Tampa Bay, and Arizona face the New York Giants, who have traded for J.J. McCarthy following Jaxson Dart's season-ending knee surgery. Jameis Winston is expected to start.
Chicago host the New York Jets with their own quarterback situation unresolved. Caleb Williams is week to week with a hamstring strain and backup Tyson Bagent has been in the concussion protocol.
The injury list across the league has grown quickly through the opening month. Miami have lost running back De'Von Achane for the season with a torn ACL, Buffalo are without Ed Oliver after biceps surgery, and Green Bay face an extended spell without receiver Jayden Reed following a neck injury that required an overnight hospital stay.
